ok u want proof american cars suck? look at everything else BUT the corvette and the ssc aero, its all junk and dude i still dont understands hwy people like u r comparing the gt-r to the zr1, the zr1's msrp is 100 grand the gt-r's msrp is 70 grand so therefore u cant compare the gt-r to the zr1, but the z06 were it slaugghters it, and also u think having the same brakes as enzo is good? carbon drakes are 15 grand a brake change wich is every 25 ish thousand miles

Keep in mind all the stats done with the Z06 and ZR1 are on a basic manual transmission. The GT-R needs a lightening fast automatic transmission and launch control to keep up. The transmission in the ZR1 will take you to 65 mph in first gear alone, and the brakes are THE same brakes used on the Enzo. With an additional passenger and 50 lbs of recording equipment on board the ZR1 has done 206 mph. I laugh when people say American cars suck. Nobody ever has solid evidence, just bad stereotypes.

The v -spec was on track posting times well before the ZR-1 so i'm confused how you think the ZR-1 could have beaten it in the earlier stages but no matter. SIMPLY put, i think the GTR weighing in as it does with that little 500hp MILD TUNED donk and doing the times it has is FUCKING AWESOME. NO BODY can take that away ! NOBODY. THE ZR-1 is the best weapon Vette has made and i love it. I just want a lot more for the moola.

that is so true.. although i do like the "overpriced" european cars. anyway, the ZR1 is ridiculusly fast! didnt think it could handle that well around corners. im glad its doing more than just a 1/4 mile.

The ZR1 is NOT lighter than the Z06. Do some research. The additional carbon fiber pieces on the ZR1 do NOT completely make up for the added weight of the supercharger and intercoolers.

Yesir suspention and chassis are plucked from the best of the best, and that isnt american design. The good ol american part os the heart of the beast and the name tag. You still have to figure that they've been lifting ideas off companies like ferrari since the beginning of the vette.

btw they dont use the ls7 block(zo6)they used a ls3 block with zo6 heads and supercharger ect.

Btw where are you getting this stupid 850hp number from? Seeing as how a z06 is 505hp, after reengineering the motor for the super charger it only gained about 125hp. I mean do you know anything about compression ratios, and boost or anything about putting a power adder on a motor? Its not like O damn my sick viper gets 600hp throw a super charger on that bitch and it will be 850! Wrong do some reading or just stick to your hondas.

Wow alright so if you want to pick apart engine components rather than the final numbers you've got 2 more cylinders. Which means that a regular z06 making 505hp via 8 cylinders is already ahead of a viper making 600 via 10. The cubes to power is much higher on the vette. So if you wanna start knocking what they used to get to their numbers take away 2 of dodges cylinders and you'd have a slow turd.
