Agree, Edd makes wheeler Dealers and is a living legend

Yes, Edd is one hell of a guy. He brings his magic to any car- takes on any challenge and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Makes the guys on Top Gear seem like Julian Cleary!

You noob, theres no takers exc you cause cross-fire is SH.

Yes- you are so right. What Edd China does not know about cars could be written on a microbe. He is a great British eccentric. Wheeler Dealer's rocks!

Ed is fantastic guy, presents his work well, hard worker, and good character on show. Also love their car choices. Love the show.

I m addicted to this show. Its perfect.

Agree, without Edd China everything would grind to a halt- not only is the man a genius , he works like a trooper and never disappoints.

love the programs

Edd is a legend - he is so knowledgeable. Great guy.

What I find amazing is that the Chevy Caprice used the same 350c.i. engine as the 'Vette but had more power, especially the 9C1 police package versions.

I love this tv-show, Great !!!

oh I found a C4 with 5.7 Litre....

The quality control on the C4 was atrocious, something since fixed on the C5 and C6. BHP ratings on those engines would be anywhere from 180 up to about 230, even though it was rated at 205. Anyway, those engines were all about torque. The 4+3 was interesting, but I'd sooner go after a C5 at the least.

The explanation for the low horsepower is quite simple really. In the US in the mid 70's gas prices skyrocketed, from less then 75 cents a gallon to over 5 dollars at some points. High horsepower factory engines disappeared overnight. Also, US auto manufacturers were known to sandbag HP specs on performance cars for insurance and EPA reasons. Example: the 1970 Hemi Challenger was rated at 425HP, the actual HP was about 475.

206bhp from a V8???? how did they manage to get so litle power from such an engine?! we get 206bhp from a kitchen blender in europe

i quite like watching this show, you actualy learn stuff from Edd

whats with this american car shit, needs petrol pouring all over it and match

if your concerned, with getting more horsepower then stock out of your car, then the crossfire injection is a waste of your time. in addition, if you want your rmp's to go over 4500, the TPI intake is also trash. I would recomend, TPIS miniram, intake, for any1 who wants serious N/A HP.

People ive uploaded WD golf gti on my channel and uploading wd 911 porsche targa. and tell me what to upload, because i might even do that for ;)

'85 onwards had the TPI, I think - The Crossfire's not actually that bad, it's reliable, pretty simple and responds to a bit of tuning. The main thing is that Chevrolet 'choked' the intake manifold's ports to drop power (whether it was intentional or not, who knows) to make the "new" TPi appear infinitely superior to the Crossfire. Sort the manifold and you get a nice hike!

I thought 84 models had the better tune port injection? crossfire is rubbish.

looks like a typical 84 if he got a z51 it will pull a 1g on the skid pad all day long sounds like they need to tighting down the roof the big proplem with theas car is the intake manifold also they mad 280 fl of tq and will sit you back in you seat preaty nice I love mine

but the new ZR-1 has got 620 hp and is said to beat Ferraris and Lamborhginis

They do turn up. Just a question of waiting, for "projects" like that.
