I've always wanted to try a warwick "for real"..you know, a really good warwick and try it on my own amp. Like a stryker or buzzard.. :P. Those look pretty badass
I respect that. I have both a Warwick and a recently purchased Fender (jazz). I was surprised that the Fender had nearly as good of tone with about half the price :o
Sounds kinda cool...but I'm a Fender-guy myself. Jazz bass all the way
Warwick STD 5 Ash Corvette with Active Pickups and French Violet Finnish. Thats my bass :)
warwick corvette standard (bubinga,active)
vs
fender precision american standard 2008
Excelent
Cool Bass
Nice

dont get a fender!!
I own this bass and although it is my favorite, for its sound and beauty... I can't play it as often as I would like because of its neck size. Too uncomfortable.
I play a Warwick "Corvette" and I think they have a fabulous sound. I've always felt that they're a great sounding and feeling bass. I would like to afford a Spector one day... one day!
I have a 4 string Corvette, great sounding bass, very rich sound, but the neck is too thick for a lot of peoples taste

I tried a warwick, could never get along with it. The neck felt too lumpy and thick. It's all subjective of course.
Beautiful basses, I really wished that I'd love to play them as well.
buy a jazz bass i know it sounds crazy but i have one and am in a metal band... it comes through all that distortion and sounds pretty nice... but really you need to go to a guitar store and try out basses till you find one you like and feel comfortable playing
depends on how much you're willing to pay.. Warwick is usually more expensive
I got that bass in fretless version... I love it really
Hm, I'd recommend a warwick Vampyre. Any model, really. Overall, I prefer the strong tone of warwicks over the "light" tones of fender, although it's just personal taste.
Warwick, best combined with a Warwick or Gallien-Krueger head. Depends more on your personal taste though...
I am considering buying a new bass...
I play metal
What do you recommend me to buy: A warwick, a music man or a fender
By the way, I love the sound of that warwick
I love Warwicks, it's just that phallus thing pointing at your head that puts me off them a bit...
What kind of wood is a corvette standard made of? Bubinga Pommele?
sup victor
wow I love the sound of that warwick. What do you think its better: music man, warwick or fender?
ive been wondering the same thing. my amp has input for both too, and i never really knew the difference too much. thanks DarthWyyrlok, that was helpful.
Passive pickups have a simple "tone" knob. Active pickups have EQ knobs...usually two or three-band. Active pickups are generally hotter than passive ones. The active input on your amp just has a "pad" on it to reduce the level of the signal your bass sends to it. Hope that helped...
whats the difference between passive and active pickups i have no clue and my amp hass an input for each i dont know which to use
