It has two stage electronic boost controller (switchable), 8 on low, max is set to 15 with methanol above 8. I haven't ran a compression test during full boost yet..

What kind of compression do you get with the turbos?

The turbos actually replace the mufflers. The turbos are rear mounted in the exact same place the mufflers used to be. I've seen one or two cars with added shorties between the outside of turbo and final exhaust tips, but it appears almost everyone is happy with the final sound with just the turbos.

Are you able to run mufflers with the STS system or do the turbos replace the mufflers? Car sounds awesome by the way!

this track seems small as hell. Awesome dam drivin none the less. and dam good laps towards the end...on you first time race'in this track too!!

I think armchair racers are worse than armchair quarterbacks. Until their own cars and their own arses are on the line, you know it don't mean nothin. Don't waste your time replying to nay-sayers. If you ever find yourself out East, be sure to check out Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course..."most technical course in America"...just a plug for my fave!

A ride in this car would make you pee your pants then vomit. Video always looks way slower than real life.

The people who post negative comments on here are completely ignorant. First off, a full on race camaro can be nearly as fast as a full on race anything and would completely destroy anything factory stock on a track like this. Second, between 3:28 and 4:31 was a 1:03 lap!!!!! That is smoking fast for this track! And on this guy's first ever time on it.

Yea, this is the firebird small track. It is not a passing track, nor was I trying to pass. A good pass vid is the willow springs one I posted where a porsche had blocked in a curve but couldn't hold its own pulling out of the turn.

your car sounds mean. I have a stock vette, with minor intake and exhaust mods. There is no way an old school camaro could keep up with me on my home track. Now if it were my first time at a track, sure, but the z06's have the suspension to outdo nearly 98% of cars out there with a stock engine. Your car does sound mean though, but it doesn't sound like it is geared well for the track you are on.

I'm embarrassed too; do you have a spell checker? (It will help prevent you from being **embarased** when you are discussing **acceletation**.) As for the misleading full race big block Camaro, it was a great car to follow around while its driver showed us his track and it wasn't in the way until the fourth lap. Don't worry, no one there accused me of driving a Camry.

Wow, I'm embarased a vette owner. The Old school Camaro out acceletated you big time. A you sre you weren't in a Camry?

I'm just curious, do you race at a track? The reason I ask is there are simple differences between driving on street, and racing. Videos always seem slower, but be assured, the car was straining the tranny gears, and frying rotors. As far as car insurance, a timed race on dedicated track of any kind pretty much does it. Again, just because I didn't rub or pass, doesn't mean we weren't haulin the mail. You can click on my ID at top to see another race with expensive personally owned cars.

give me the exact title ill chk it out 4 sure. thank's 4 taking d time to explain . i guess ur right it's defenitly not cool 2 take a crash car bck home especially 1 that youve put so much time & money .

The car won 1st place at willow in the unlimited class last January. During that very race, I was followed by a S/C'd mustang and a turbo 4wd evo. Unfortunately, the evo spun out right where the porsche cut me off and totaled his car into the wall on the uphill to the left just after that turn. None of us want to take their car home like that.

Did you check my other vid from willow springs, it's much better suited and although again, it was a warmup practice lap, it has some embarrassing passing in it. The porsche who locked me up in third turn wasn't faster, I just didn't want to slam into him if he didn't see me or couldn't safely modify his line so I backed off. After I passed him like he was parked a few turns later, he stayed out of the way.

Try to imagine unloading the car at a new track for the first time. Then imagine going on the track for the first time and going all out. Then imagine wrecking your ride or hitting someone elses car trying to pass them on lap 2 cuz you didn't know the track yet. This was the 1st four laps, in another state. It's very unwise to drive like a madman right of the trailer at a new track. I agree, smokin other cars is a blast, after you own the track and know who you're driving with.

it's o.k man im possitive youll come up with a better vid after all this comment . hey where just trying 2 give u constructive criticim not attacking u man it's all good.

bro i seriously don't mean 2 b an ass but just look at ur vid title (racing) against who all that time u where just pacing that other car . it's seem 2 me that 80% of the people agree with me .

i guess we have a diffrent idea of fun . my idea of fun is kicking the shit out of other car's. ur saying u have 7000dollars worth of aftermarket part to follow a car around .

Sorry, wasn't trying to pass him, just following him around to check out the track for the first time. He wasn't going anywhere after I cruised around a few laps. It was for fun, not to ram all the other cars off in a blast of turbo hate! btw, it is tuff to pass any fast car on that small of a track, even a miata.

that camaro must have 900rwhp im no expert, but a twin turbo corvette can't get pass another car that's taller ,heavier

Sit it sideways babe...rwd...its what its for...lol

ya that shit was pretty weak.... shits wizzeekk

Thanks for posting, the track looks really small, I'd like to see you post after a run on a Roval course.
