What makes the biggest difference in tyre roar is the road surface (in England most motorway surfaces are v noisy, in France they're the opposite) if its a real issue - change the run flat GY F1s for Pirelli P Zero or Michelin Pilot Sports - the noise goes.

My goodness, I love this car. By now, it's a bit outdated. Performance cars have really advanced in just the past few years (look at the GT-R and the R8) and even when it came out, the Z06 was a bit, shall we say, primitive. Pushrods, leaf springs... get the picture? But, it's what a sports car SHOULD be, and what I fear a sports car will never be again... simple, light, powerful, purpose built to kick butt and nothing else.
