this car has ferarri parts on it, what happened to all american, thats why the car companys are going under, and a zr1 was sold by jay leno for one million dollars, must be some stupid rich mother fucker that has alot of money just burning a hole in his pocket.

First of all American super cars are still nothin' compared to the experienced and passionate european super cars ,second of all the standard viper's handling is useless on our european roads.

The Corvette Factory here in Bowling Green is one of two General Motors factories that will temporarily close for a week to keep inventory in line with lower demand. A GM spokesman says the factory will be idled the week of December first. Corvette sales are off nine-percent through the first nine months of the year. The plant employs about 900 workers. Next time try doing a little research. BTW, this isnt the first time they've done this.

Yeah looksl ike GMis doing well. They are shutting down the pant in December because they are not selling enough Corvettes... suprise suprise. Its called a recession.

I'm done arguing with you, time to fire up the grill and crack open a cold one! All hail the Viper, the fastest, best selling supercar in the world. There, does that make you feel better?LOL

Once again you cant read! I said they are all BRAND NEW at dealers! Is YouTube the only site you know how to find? Try doing some research, like actually going to EBAY and seeing for yourself. I gave you facts and backed them up, but obviously you cant accept them. Actual Viper owners dont seem to have a problem admitting that the car isnt selling but you cant seem to digest it. If you figure out how to nav. the net you might learn something by visiting some of their forums.

Thats because people are buying them and selling them for a profit. And lets see how the ZR1 sells. There are only a few out right now and the economy sucks. Add to that the dealerships are screwing people over and adding $50,000-$100,000 mark up on them, I dont think that many of those will sell.

Wont find a ACR sitting on a lot? There are three new 2008 ACR's on EBAY. There are also over a dozen new SRT's listed. Really hard getting your hands on one of those 1200 cars.

this is from a Boston newspaper. With losses and shrinking US sales, the automakers may balk at putting more money into relatively low-volume vehicles such as Chrysler's Viper, which accounted for just 682 of the company's 965,935 US deliveries through July, or GM's Hummer, which generated 18,035 of GM's 1.82 million total.

The Callaway vid is in my favorites, I already told you that. It was the worlds fastest street legal car for 20 years prior to the SSC Ultimate Areo comming out this year, which by the way uses a modified Chevy engine. I also told you that the new 05 and 06's on dealers lots came straight from the Vipers Club Forums. Do you even bother to read? Once again it doesnt make any difference if they only make 1200 if they're only selling 600.

08s are still at the factory because the cars are hand made. They are made in lots depending on the color thats ordered. So yes there are still Vipers there for the Viper blue, black, and violet wich are just now being released.

I said they are exclusive because they make approx. 1200 a year... compared to 35,000 Vettes thats exclusive. You will not see an ACR sitting in a lot... they are pretty much pre-sold. And post a link to the thread about the 05-06 still sitting in a dealer lot. You talk a lot of shlt without providing links. And no I didnt find a Callaway link showing a better time than the Henessy in the mil or on the track.

BTW, I guess the Lingenfelter and Callaway videos were also BS huh? LOL

It's not BS side shit, it's facts. The problem is that you ran your mouth about how exclusive the Viper is and the truth is that people arent buying them. We both know that you'll never find a leftover ZR1 just sitting on some dealers lot. All hail to the mighty ACR, king of the ring, whose production run is about to end. Dont worry though, they'll still be sitting on dealers lots if you want one.

Bring up all the BS side shlt you want, but the ZR1 is still second at the ring. PERIOD. And its funny how you are bringing up Chrysler stocks and comapny news, have you read about GM and Ford lately??? Looks like it wont be long into 2009 and GM might be filing bankruptcy. Ford wont be far behind.

I just took a walk thru the Viper Club forum. Not only are there 2008's still sitting at the factory, the forum members say there are dealers with brand new 05's and 06's on their lots. Keep telling yourself how exclusive they are. LMAO. Game over, thanks for playing.

The Wall Street Journal, citing people it described as familiar with the discussions, said Cerberus Capital Management, the private equity firm that owns 80.1% of Chrysler and 51% of GMAC Financial Services, proposed trading Chrysler's automotive operations to GM. The Journal said Cerberus would receive GM's remaining 49% stake in GMAC. Like I was saying.

Go to my favorites and watch the Lingenfelter vid and tell me the vette is still second. I havent seen any of Hennesys cars beat it. While your at it check out the Callaway vid, hell that was 20 years ago. What did Dodge build 20 yrs ago, oh thats right, the Daytona turbo Z.

BTW, it's pretty sad when you're only building 1500 Vipers a year and there are hundreds still sitting at the factory because the dealers cant sell them. Dont believe me, look it up. CNN ran the article.

Production is 1500 per year for the ZR1. Care to tell me how the Viper is doing in ALMS. GM put all their eggs in the ZR1? Maybe you've heard of the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V, a real sports sedan unlike the Bentley wanna be SRT-8. When GM built the new Camaro they started from the ground up unlike Dodge who chose to make a 2 door Charger and call it the Challenger. Pretty bad when you cant even give it it's own interior. Dodge has never outsold GM, and they never will.

Face it, GM put all their eggs into the ZR1 basket and now it has been crushed by the ACR. The ZR1 is pretty much maxed out where the Viper can bolt on a Belanger system and push 675hp... and thats with a simple bolt on. The Vette will always be second. Sorry...

LOL, ok fan boy. I guess you have to find a silver lining in being second. So some idiot payed a million dollars for a $100,000 car, so what? That million dollar car will still finish second. And they make 35,000 Corvettes a year... not very exclusive... and cheap enough for just about anyone to own. Where are they make around 1200 Vipers a year. So by your reasoning the Carerra GT is crap because they dont sell many of them.

BTW, I dont recall the first Viper ACR selling for a cool mil at Barrett Jackson like the ZR1 did.

Ya the same Viper that Dodge is going to pull the plug on. Im curious to what the "over/under" is on Dodge as a company. What vehicle do they make that most people would buy over any other brand? In the last 20 yrs they've tried everything and still cant come close to GM and Ford, and neither one of them are setting the world on fire. So whats that say for Dodge. The one thing you cant take away from the Vette, they've been in production for 55 yrs, obviously people are buying them.

Record??? You mean the one the Viper ACR blew away? LOL, so much for Chevy stepping it.
