There's no such thing as a street legal M3 GT.... unless by that you mean the American Le Mans Series racing car, the M3 GTR. Nice try, but even the Compuware C5R would destroy the M3 GTR. It's more like Corvette > 335i Z06 > M3 C6R > M3 GTR ...performance wise, that's all. I think I can live without wood trim and two less seats, you can have the extra 500 lbs or so that the M3 has on a Z06.

3300 lbs is not full size family saloons. Not tryin to call you out, but that's only about 150 lbs heavier than a Z06 which has a fiberglass body and is known for a lightweight car. I'd really like for you to back up the GT claims cause if it's that fast then the Z06 is not in the same class at all. That time aroudn the ring would make it compete w/ ANYTHING on the street. From what I found on the M3 GT, that aint so. try around 300hp/270 ft/lbs. Just not enough.

I'd also like to add that unless I could actually see under the hood of that Vette, I couldn't be completely sure that it is supercharged. No supercharger sounds, not even a cam is in it. You should also know that a C5 Z06 will put out about 500-550whp w/ about 6-7 lbs on a procharger. Couple that w/ the fact that the Vette weighs about 150 lbs less and is more aerodynamic, I can't really see how this Vette is supercharged. If it is, then it isn't making sufficient power.

32.9 seconds? That's a bold statement. In one lap? I couldn't find much on the GT, other than a '95 model, which would get smoked. There is however, some info on the GTR, which is significantly faster than a C5 Z06, but only barely faster than a C6 Z. Regardless, that GTR price tag puts it WAY out of the Z06 class, typical of BMW. The CSL in street form would be a better comparison. Or even the Coupe Competition Package on an otherwise stock M3. Again, all these cars are much more expensive

Comparing a M3 to a Z06 is like comparing apples to oranges. Corvette competes with M3 Z06 competes with M3 GT You never see any STOCK Corvette videos, but you will always see the Z06 videos. The M3 GT beats the Z06 by 32.9 seconds on the N'ring. So have your races against the BMW full size family saloons and feel good about your Z06s. But if you bring it up against an actual M3 GT, the Z06 will get smoked.

its stage 1 on race gas 600rwhp...his car is now a stage 2...when he raced the supercharged z06 it was stage 1 on race fuel.

The SUPRA will Blow both cars like litle kid having breakfast! HPF M3 is only one fender infront of the stock Z06.! And the HPF kit should be 750hp hahahah the Z06 sitng right next too the HPF M3 This kit coast 15.000$ to install. Z06 stock is holding very good! Corvette... M3 sucks... drop a Turbo set up on the Corvette too, watch that thing will chew up that BMW like nothing... hate to say it, but looks like Turbo out performs Supercharger on long run, but from dead stop, I think the Supercharger, Corvette will win..
