junkman is a fool...my stock 350 with full exhaust drowns out the radio..thats y i took it out..ur wasting ur money if u go 454 unless u shoot for 1000+ hp..u can easily get 700-900 hp out of a 383 stroker if u build it right............

why not just go for the 454, u get about the same horse with more torque, and its cheaper. ANd with side pipes i doubt u hear the radio anyway lol. My best fried has a big block 68 camaro, and when that motor is churning that radio gets drowned out easily. Hows ur interior, please dont tell me u chip foosed(chip foose needs to be punched, 20inch rims on a muscle car is silly) it with gay racing seats.

Well expense is not an issue for me so I have the best of both worlds here. I do have an kick ass stereo and a small block Vortec that has 500 plus HP on the dyno. As far as the rims they used to be 15 inch so I stepped up to 17's with these which can handle a corner much better! Trust me; this thing is insane to hold on to.

why did u put those rims on it, the mags look way better. I hope U got a big block under the hood also, but some how i doubt that since u bothered with a stereo.A nice 500 horse bb chevy will drown out a stereo and that aint a bad thing.

nice job!!! I have a great repro radio that i would like to sell. It has digital tuning, and i have retrofitted 72-76 knobs on it to give it an origional look. It also has an aux output for an ipod. WOrks fantastic and everyone thinks its is origional. I just happened to find an old delco radio that i am going to rebuild so i no longer need this radio. But it is a one of a kind "custom autosound" radio with the retrofitted knobs and custom corvette plaque. mail me if you are intersted.
