I have a z06 and I've owned several BMW's in the past..The M5 is the ultimate family man driving machine..or if you're looking for luxury with supercar performance...But if you dont care about luxury and jsut performance the Z06 is an absolute monster and will murder most cars on and off the track.

the m6 barely beats the base C6, take a look the another the Kelleners M6 vs Z06, even with some 70 hp advantage the bmw can´t keep it up

the ZO6 is a lot less expensive, handling n balance if not better, definitely not worse, and is a lot lighter and looks better and doesn't have mind boggling, annoying, 200 electronical settings to chose from. and i almost forgot, Z06 also has something european car makers don't hear much about; torque! yes, you could argue that the m6 is more exclusive and luxurious, although z06 is the better car.

what most euro-trash-talkers donn't realize is that we build dragcars in the USA because most of our roads here are straighter and the cities built in grids. We finaly decided to build cars for turning and road type courses. The last time we did it was the GT40 and do you remember how that went? Well shelby had to fix the european mess and then it went well. Now the gt gx1, z06, zr1. Much less money and spanking most of your supercars in a short order. do not throw stones.

Z06 is an amazing car. Drove it last year. one word explains it "astonishing". m6 is a big dissappointment. too many computers in it, that ruin the true motoring experience.
