the diesel engine just does not make noise, the Peugeot doesn't make noise either

It's been reported/guessed Audi also wanted to break the myth that diesels are loud and noisy. So they might have big mufflers on purpose.

Hah yeah you can't even hear that Audi. It makes me wonder if they silenced it on purpose or if the engine just doesn't make that much noise compared to the other cars. Its an awesome butt kicking car tho thats for sure.

Gotta love the sound of the C6 R... The Audi however.. Doesn't come close to the sounds of a race car =/ Audi forgot what the sound of a race car, and a race is... Racing isn't about silence, but about noise and speed. YOu have to hear it coming. Don't have to wonder : "Where's the race car?" But, thumbs up for them achieving this with diesel...
