275 Km/h with the gears of Subaru STI or the Subaru GT Turbo?

Nou zijn dit snelheden die je natuurlijk niet zo gemakkelijk haalt....of door verkeer of wegen die dat gewoon niet toelaten, maar wij hadden ook niet verwacht dat de Sub zelfs tot 280 km/h voor de Vette zou blijven.

Beide auto's hadden hier ongeveer net zoveel vermogen[+/- 520 pk], waarbij de Vette voordeel had van minder aandrijfverliezen door de RWD tegenover de Sub AWD en de Sub had 't voordeel van iets minder gewicht en kortere overbrengingen. Vooral door dat laatste punt is de Sub gewoon sneller met de tussenacceleratie's, maar puur op topsnelheid wint de Vette. Ik denk dat de Sub 't bij ongeveer 300 km/h wel gehad heeft en de Vette gaat dan nog door tot ongeveer 325 km/h.

maar ondanks de mods op de sub proficiat , maar ik heb pas me z06 binnen gehad , nog 2 weken wachten op me kenteken , en dan ga ik sparen voor me magnussen super charger , dat gaat heel veel plezier met zich mee brengen .

ten eerste heeft een z06 ten alle tijden 6 versnellingen ,@ rodymeister je heb gelijk gozer , maar je zal het met me eens zijn dat als je auto,s tegen over elkaar wilt zetten en testen , moet je onbeperkte ruimte hebben om tot het uiterste te kunnen gaan waarover de auto kan beschikken ? en geen verkeer op de weg zoals hier het geval is . thanx voorje reaktie btw

its just a vette, and like the guy below me its just a symbol of how much your willing to spend for a NAME on a car. Suby's produce 200 less hp but with maybe 10000 bux u can out do most cars on the road. just a name on the car thats why it cost so much...

Suby's are nice cars don't get me wrong. They are damn fast and I've been hammered by a few of them coming off the line. However, you can't be taken seriously when you pull up in your Suby at the country club. The Corvette is a status symbol. It's expensive for a reason. Sure it's hoity toity, sure you can put your money to better use elswhere, but if you want to turn the right kind of heads, those above 29 yrs of age, you buy a Corvette. Not bein an ass, just sayin.

Its funny the mention of fuel economy on the vette. Slap another two differntials and some front axles on there and the mileage won't be so great. Not to mention the torture the poor transmission has to go through. It takes a lot of ingenuity and skill to make an awd suby perform like that. Anyone can hop in a six liter n/a muscle car and push the gas pedal. Please list your engine, ecu, and transmission mods :)

i am a proud owner of a 84 prostreet cutlass that puts out 477 hp to the rear wheels. HOWEVER i used to own a import and mini truck shop. funny thing about this is the suby prob still has 1/2 of the money in it that the zo6 does stock. so money for money srry the import wins. besides vettes are for old fucks in a midlife crisis. personally id take the suby

Yeah!!! and you are a complete idiot for making such a foolish generalization like that!!!! I'm sorry I had to resort to name calling but it was justified in this case... For every *stock* or *close to stock* performance V8 equipped car this thing beats, there are countless other *modified* V8 cars that will completely destroy this car.
