you have to give the car credit its $100,000 and is spanking over ferrari lamborghini and all other cars of its kind no it wont beat a verone but if you dumped another $900,000 into that vette it would spank all over that car plain and simple BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK? we all dont have a million dollars to go buy a car. and yes i am a corvette fan boy screw mustangs
throw a 200 buck smaller pulley and boom 600+whp this car is gonna own everything just on its stock supercharger. imagine when the whipple 3.4 is on this fallen angel? hahaha can u say undefeated
these are good numbers for stock, insideline video and hennessy performance made shit with the dynos
jeezus....almost 600 rwhp STOCK...my god!
actually, the 2.0l turbo and supercharged Eco-Tec engines in the Cobalt SS's where forged as well
GM almost never forges engines. They forged this one and the LSA in the CTS but before this they almost never did.
All car manufactures tell you the horsepower made only by the motor itself. The dyno tells you how much of that power goes to the wheels.
The amount of power a car's engine makes is almost never the same amount that gets to the wheels. Power gets lost going thru the transmission(flywheel).
sorr y for any mistakes*puts up flameshield*
oh haha, makes since, considering you were on a dyno and that measures it by RWHP.
You are a jackass!
571 hp to the REAR WHEELS but the engine is actually producing 638 or mbe even a lil more lol
Why in the beginning did it say 500 and something HP, those come stock with 638????
im talkin my friends 300zx because its a fast ass street car he drives daily.
and i do have a car, im just not into the modify car stage anymore, i grew out of it, i still have a love for cars tho.
and no putting slicks on a zr1 doesnt always mean low 10s.
u really dont have to worry about the internals much. When GM puts forced induction on something from stock, they already include forged internals cuz they already know what people are gonna do...turn up the boost lol...so really all u would have to do is add a ram air intake, and up boost about 2-5psi and maybe a catalytic converter swap and u'll be well over 700hp at the crank. and that would cost about $800 at the most...
Your FRIENDS Turbo 300zx? So what your saying is, you have no car? Sweet, lets see a mod list for the Nissan please.
Through the ZR1 on slicks and you have a low 10s car, I'd really like to see your FRIEND's 300zx do that.
....faster in what way? Certainly not around a track of any kind. This car holds a very high place (2nd or 3rd) around the nurinburg ring.
But hey, some moronic kid talkng shit on youtube clearly knows more than the engineers who designed this car right....
Anyone can make a car go fast in a straigh line. I could furter mod my Buick Regal into the low 10s....therefore being faster than a ZR1....in a straigh line. I certainly wouldn't want to try going 205mph though.
well put, and im not a corvette fanboy either.
All new vehicles display this message on the dyno since it knows the rear wheels are moving and the fronts are not.... after the car comes off the dyno and moves a few feet the light goes off.
service traction system it says
Grammar nazi. ALL HEIL THE GRAMMAR NAZI!
how is which super car is king a fact? it's an opinion.
True (obviously you know more about cars then i do, all i could read is the brochure) . I also would like the bugatti over the ssc. It basically is just as fast and it looks way better.
I am pretty sure that the Bugatti could squeeze out more power than it has. if you do the math for HP per Liter. the SSC has 187 hp per liter (1183 hp, 6.3L) and the Bugatti is 125 hp per liter (1001 hp, 8.0 L) With 2 more turbo's as well as 1.7 L of displacement, the Bugatti can take the cake. True for the time being the SSC is faster and weighs far less.
Regardless, I would Still prefer the Bugatti over any car out there.
Not at all. The ssc ultimate aero tt is the king. You have to get your facts right.
true the Veyron will outrun the ZR1 with ease. Of course you can always apply modifications to anything. So really, any car can be made to outrun any other car. I'd have to agree though, that the Veyron is the king. |
