How to pass slower traffic in a Vette

The amazing thing is that the people you pass, simply allow it, and watch you. The cars in this video do just that. I have posted on many Vette videos, and now, I'll finally admit....I do in fact drive one. I never mentioned it before because I didn't want to seem bias.

M5's are hot, can't mess with them too much, they have the power, not so much the torque, but the power. HUD is an option, but it's one that's necessary :).

Much respectd to the Evo, I have no problem with it being a "Four Banger", it's one powerful one...imagine that, a 4cyl engine putting out that much horsepower...c'mon, that's pretty sick. Yeah, the fuel economy on the Vettes are equally as sick...you should see the Z06 fuel economy vs any other car putting out the same Horse...and then check the track times! The Z06 is the only car I know, where right out of the showroom, it's track ready! =D

I defintely agree with you. The Corvette truly is THE best sports car buy out there. I currently own an Evo and I am sure there are a lot of guys here will have their comments about the car...considering it's a 4 banger. But I am looking to a Vette for a second car. A different beast from the Evo. Vette advantages: Cheap,V8 power,handling acceleration,looks,fuel economy!,most room and luggage space of any 2 seated sports car. Disadvantage: no back seat, but that's what the Evo is for!:)

That's called "Heads Up Display", or "HUD". Corvettes have had them since 1997. It can read your speed, G Force (2005+ only), Oil pressure, Gas remaining and more! It's a feature EVERY Vette should have...I say should because it's a added feature that you get with the 3LT package or higher.

The 6th generation Z06 (2006+) can easily do 55MPH in first. Vettes are the true beasts of the powerhouse sports cars, hands down.

I would have to agree that the driver is reckless putting innocent lives in danger. But that aside he does show the capabilities of the car and how well he utilizes them. I love how the car reaches 150 mph without straining and brakes and takes turns on such a narrow road. Isn't true though that these Vettes can cruise effortlessly in 6th gear at 45 mph? Hence the awesome fuel economy. This "test drive" video makes me want a C6! A real POV video in real life, not a race track. Thank you c6vette.
