Beautiful car, I cant help but think that this car is completely inspired by the famous Barris built Matranga Custom 1940 Mercury. The window lines are exactly the same, they even copied the caddilac sombrero hubcaps and even the unique eggplant color. That said, its still a beautiful car!

I am the proud owner of an FJ Holden Panel Van and I've always been dreaming about putting up to date tech beneith the body shell. Hell! Why don't they put that Efijy into minor series production - let's say 500? It would easily compete with cars like the BMW Z8. There must be quite a bunch of car buffs around who have already made incredible offers to make that beauty theirs...

go to wikipedia and look up HOLDEN its a G.M.(general motors) subsidiary since 1930.like Lamborghini is to V.W., or Lexus is to Toyota it may be a Australian car company,you wont find them in the U.S.(the cars are made in Australia) but its kinda like saying the toyota i drive is American because it WAS made in America. the 6.0 L engine in that car of yours is indeed American.its not PURE Australian,sorry.

no, i at least wouldnt look at it that way, opel(very similar to saturn in usa), for example, or saab, is owned by gm. saab is as you might know swedish, and opel is german. so i would think of it as australian, but if you think of it as american, then thats your point of view and i wouldnt call u wrong.

This Concept CAR is what HOLDEN should put into production and mix it with the big boys Ferrari. All it needs is a Hydrogen Fuel System, that will allow it to be not just Australia's BEST Car, but the BEST Car in the World. I am sure that if Holden announced to but 1,000 into a limited production that they would fill the full order before the last rolled of the line, Elizabeth SA Plant could be extended to the soon to be old Mitsubishi Plant and the JOB losses from that plant could be fixed

She's a nice set of wheels. And contrary to comments it is built in Aussie. And holden is an aussie brand. Ford (Falcon) is also a aussie brand. Perhaps they could do a remake XYGT? We need more "good" cars on the road. Remakes of classic styles. Look at the names that have come out of the ashes now. Z, Mini, Cosmo, Monaro, Daytona, Commando, Beetle, GT40..... all getting good sales becuase the respark something.
