It's 4K lbs and simply not enough HP/TQ to make the boat move out like a ZR-1 can.

IT did actually smash its original record of 7:38, simply by using a better driver. It's current best time is 7:29 and the vspec has smashed that. Expect low 7:22 area.

no. Thats not right. Stock GTR did not do a 7:29. It did 7:38, and I bet it wasn't showroom stock at that because there was speculation that race tires were added, as well as a tune of some sort. Nissan did everything possible to fudge the stats of this car for marketing purposes. Because others have pulled off at best 7:41 showroom stocker GTR. The GTR V-Spec will do well to make 7:29. I'd be surprised to see anything faster than that. I'm no expert on THAT car, but I do know physics well.
