The Evo's AWD system makes it easy for any person to be able to drive the car to its limit without much danger of oversteering, unlike the Vette wich needs the skill of a professional to fully utilize the car around the track. So the Evo with a few more horses can keep up or even overtake stock Vettes z06 easily around a twisty track.

The biggest factor to this video is obviously the driving. Whoever was driving the Vette can't drive for sh*t... Anybody know what track that is? Cuz there are a few turns in there that provoke me to think it's Thunderhill in Northern Cali.... Oh.. and I'm pretty sure that an C5Z would bend an EVO over on a road course.. ask me how I know........ :-)

Ummm.... the Z06 kills the FQ400. Top Gear Test Track Z06= 1:22.4 FQ400= 1:24.8 And like ls1phsyco said, if you really want the top of the line vette you are talking the ZR1. And trust me, you don't want to go there. The evo is not a sports car. Go look up the definition of a sports car. It faster than some sports cars, but it's definitely not one.
