Ha, i own a mustang gt; i am indeed a fan of american cars. I just give respect where respect is due.

alright here's what i think, and im not gonna "be haten" on either car. ive driven a 50th anniversary corvette z06 (my uncle's) a few times, and there is no denying the fact that it is a great car. it was somewhat affordable, especially compared to the ferrari, and hands down fun, at times scary, to drive. the ferrari is in a different leage. 1)it's fast but it is also designed to be a luxury car; the corvette, not so much. 2)ferrari is about the name. i say if u can afford it, get both!

oh yeah and JAY LENNO said and i quote "the corvette is the best sports car in the world" comeing from a man who owns nearly every euro car immaginable so dont down something you apparently dont understand check it out its on youtube "first ZR1 sells for 1,000,000" take jay lennos words and shove them right up your ferrari ass!

it takes a professional fucking driver who shifts spot on to pull that shit.. you will never be able to "dominate" anything in a vette, and if you try you'll crash and die. italian cars are truly engineered with the driver in mind.

The Scuderia will be hard to beat, even with a ZR1, specially round fiorano. The main difference is, like the z06 time on the nurburgring, the Zr1 will need a race driver, but the finesse and truely amazing stability control in the ferrari would allow even the most butter fingered driving enthusiast to drive very, very fast.
