I agree with what you are saying but I just wanted to point out that the guy on top gear is an idiot and should not be quoted like some kind of reliable source. Try getting something for 45k that can match a stock vette c6. Its pretty sad that it outperforms a lot of european cars the cost two or three times as much and yet the guy on top gear has to talk shit just because he is a biased moron.

hey lukexgamer, on top gear, he said the regular vetts are flimsy, and he said the z06 is a beast on the track, it rides ruff sure, but still a beat of a car. no car in the world right now can touch the zr1, chevy knew what they were doing with this car. the US is showing the world what is up with this supercar. unbeatable!!

u do know that the slr mclaren has plastic on the dash too right, so quality isnt what u might think buddy, and neither the carreag gt or the slr can touch the zr1 at the track buddy, take that quality bs somewhere else

Z06 is made of plastic, and is flimsy at the back, I watched it on Top Gear. He said it isn't good on the road or track, and the Mercedes has a better engine and nicer interior.

damn the SLR is $1.2 million and only has a 0-60 time of 3.3 and a top speed of just under 200 mph- thats exactly what the c6 Z06 is except the Z06 has a 0-60 time of 3.7 but its only about $73,000 MSRP....Hmm lets c... $80,000 vs. $1.2 mil...thats a hard decision... imma go with the Z06
