If you were paying attention you'd see that most of the footage was captured off of video monitors. Undoubtedly, most of the noise recorded was that of other spectators looking at the monitor and not engine noise. I'd rather have the music than a bunch of random noises.

No, the reason it outperforms exotics while being cheaper is because there are so freakin' many of them. Supply and demand is the answer. There are too many Corvettes, and not many exotics. Hence the name "exotic."

Compaired to a 08 ZO6? Both cars sell for the $70k mark. While the Corvette may have slightly higher top end the 09 GT-R is sooo much more advanced. And should prove to walk all over a ZO6 in basically anything aside from a Standing 1/2 mile. And I can't imagine any track situation where the GT-R will not dominate the Z06...

Corvette uses exotic materials. Corvete uses titainum, carbon fiber, magnesium, and balsa wood. Corvette is mass produced and mostly automated others have alot of hand work.

Ha yest the mythical gtr ans the even more mythical v-spec gtr. Start talking when they actually have a car for sale in NA. The GTR will perfom well but not nearly as good as the internet hype claims.

OH MY GOD.A lingenfelter has 1300 hp (300 more than a 1.8 million dollar Buggatti,the worlds fastest factory car),can run up to 300 mph, does 226 in the standing mile,0-60 in under 2.5 sec,and IT COSTS MORE THAN $100k???No Way!!Those bastards,trying to cheat us.They did more with $100k than Europeans could do with $1,000,000 and with half the motor and half the turbos of a Buggatti(Buggatti-16 cylinders 4 turbos,with that much,Lingenfelter could make a Vette with over 2500 hp.
