Corvette C6R at Laguna Seca

I listened to a few of these at Road America for the Generac 500 race. You HAVE to hear these things in person, it's just an insane unique sound.

I couldn't agree more! Could you imagine the Ford GT, the Aston Martin, The Viper, and the Corvette all chasing each other down at LeMans? That would be the ultimate! Not sure the Shelby GT500 belongs in this group, but the Ford GT sure would if they would do it!! Trouble is, very few of the big automakers, give a crap about anything but Nascar. Dodge pulled all factory support to road racing when they jumped into Nascar and they haven't looked back.

power to weight is like 4:1 on the c6r and like 6:1 on z06. Even the ZR1 is a little over 5:1. I love pratt&miller and katech for this car...thank god for those two!! oh yeah and GM haha

The Corvettes need serious competiton, rather than race each other !! they need to race these ladies: Saleen S7R, Jaguar XKR, and Aston Martin DB9, Ford Shelby GT500, BMWZ10, and Dodge Viper !

that engine sounds like power! That thing probably does 0-60 in a little over 3 seconds. I understand why it wins. And it is faster on the straights than the Aston Martins. They have the Corvette in the turns
