fuck yes, i love dead even races. especially between cars with waay different modifications. yes, i said dead even. the cobra didnt win, the vette didnt win (well not until the no passenger thing was said at the end). stop arguing. they were both rediculously fast cars anyway. a fucking sweet example of how a lighter normally aspirated car with a big inch motor has capabilities as well as a small inch high boost motor. im a die hard mustang man but i love all fast cars, no matter what they are..

Lotus had a part in designing the engine. It was a 4 cam monster. Even the stock ones were fast. They came out with wider tires and fenders in the rear as well.

Nope. The '90-95 ZR1 had the Mercury Marine-assembled LT5 powerplant, which was totally different from the LT1 & LT4 family. Dual-overhead-cam versus pushrod for the LT1/4. The LT4 was available in 1996 and came in the Base model, Collectors Edition and Grand Sport Corvettes; then again in 1997 in the SLP Camaro SS and Firehawk.
