I love the corvett so much so Im looking for an imported one in spain, but still the reason why americans have a bad reputation when building cars is well earned. Besides the corvetts there are really no other balanced handling american cars. Muscle cars are great fun in a straight line or to drift but will never beat an asian or european car with similar bhp, besides that they are truly unefficient geting 300 bhp of 6 to 8 littre V8, while in europe is not hard to get that from a 3 littre v6.

what i think is bullshit is when some stupid ricer watches a video where a camaro or mustang beats a civic and says stupid shit like "that civic would take his ass on the track" or something, and is usually followed by "all domestic cars are shit anyways" that's fucking retarded. there are so many things wrong with that statement and so little room to write. but the point is that American muscle cars have come a long way in handling. and some can even hang with exotics and actually win.

true true... what i'm saying though, is that RICERS (not import tuners) think that just because they have like a civic or sentra they can beat any american domestic including a vette in handling. there's retards out there who think ALL american cars are crap. this video, and many others, proves it untrue. to be clear i'm only talking about ricers, not guy who drive real import sports cars including supra's and skylines, etc. not civics or integras, eclipses, that sort of thing.

depends what corvette... you get the very expensive vette and you might hang with lambos and ferrari but you would still pay less yeah

i see these comparison tests a lot and still import ricers think they're civics can beat any american car when it comes to handling. including corvettes. the corvette has come a long way. it's not a "muscle car" anymore... it's a super car that can easily hang with lambo's, ferrari, and obviously porsche.

who cares if they're faster, i sure dont. to me, you get what you pay for. the lotus is the only one i wouldnt even consider, im not a fan of them. PS, the ford gt doesn't beat the cgt

enh, i'd take the porsche over the vette anyday, north american cars are shit compared to imports.

Why in the Euro cars test they always bring American cars down while they pump there own but on these American videos they from what i see give a fair and balanced point of view. they point out all the cars strengths and weaknesses but in the Euro videos all they say about the American car is its out dated and looks fast.

The Corvette is an amazing car for the price but if you take it to the track you'll melt the thing eventually. If you have the means the GT3 is the hands down hassel free track car with TRACK durability.

they charge $100,000 for the corvette anyways!

Strange comparison, where are the LAP times ???? I like the vette and the 911, they are such GREAT cars!!!! But the little EXIGE S is just AWESOME!!!! Just 1.8 Litre and 4 cilinders car running this close to the 6 cilinder 911 and 8 cilinder Vette! Now this is something nice!!!!
