I hate to say this to the Bugatti fan club but it appears the Veyron was "owned" ten years before it was born! Incidentally, the recent selling price of that particular Corvette was around $500k in 2007 dollars. Now how much for that Veryon again???

pretty amazing, but before you say its better than a veyron just because its slightly faster, you should consider that, except from the test driver, no one has reached that speed in this car again...on the other hand, a lot of journalists reached 250mph in the veyron easily... what i am saying is that veyron is a much more sofisticated design, with advanced aerodynamics, especially designed to be stable at that speed

um also you dont kno much about the ls7 its does not have cast pistons they are forged............go look up what elkse is in that motor ok then come talk

um 8 psi it will handle they make bolt on kits that rate them to a 1000 horse

what is stupid about it, ask any motor builder high boost high compression and cast pistons isnt a good combo, yes it works but like i said it isnt optimal, the people i know who build 900hp motors build it on 402 blocks with forged internals. a z06 with a huge cam like in the 240s and some ported LS3 heards should be making close to 600 to the wheels and beable to beat a ZR1 (in a straight line at least)

the 427 has high compression and thinner cylinder walls so excessive boost is not optimal, there has been engine failure at only 6psi, for high boost you need to run a lsx block but its iron and heavier

it would be better to do this kind of thing with the z06. it has a larger engine 427ci that could probably withstand more boost and heat also its 150lbs lighter than the new zr1.not saying the zr1 doesnt kick ass but i see more potential in the zo6 over a zr1. a twin turbo z06 that weighs 800lbs less than the veyron. it would have no chance

No. The Sledgehammer is a very civilized car. He says it right in the video. This car may not handle as good as the Veyron but it looks better, sounds better, slightly faster and easier on the bank account than the Veyron.

Yeaaa no you can't I have a 4 Door GTS-T Skyline got it for 5400 bucks, perfect condition, 76,000KM on it. and i Bought a R32 GTR for 11 Grand. The GTR has since been sold due to money problems. But thats only 16,000 for 2 beautiful cars, and one of them can smoke the doors off any Corvette that doesnt have a Z0 badge on it.
