I will agree that it was a bit overpriced but it was for a good cause, it is a badass car, and I heard something about 90-100% tax deductible... It seems like anyone with enough money didn't have much to lose. Plus seeing as how it's the first made if he takes care of it then in about 10-20 years it shouls appreciate in value.
