For a 100K, change that awful steering wheel it's in most of GM lower model cars. What a shame.

<3 ^_^ Music to my ears !

hey gp900jb get away from this site you don't know anything about car please stay in your country its better for everybody poor guy.

There isn't anything shocking of this news that you speak of...BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO IDEA WTF YOU ARE SPEAKING ABOUT. I did research your comment and found no such article(s) confirming a word you said. I think you are just trying to hate on a beautiful and powerful American built car. You are probably some ricer, or some shit. Not that I have anything against the GTR or anything, that's a bad ass ride too for the price.

uhh, heard nothing of the sort

I work for GM and actually met Tadge, the car was BONE STOCK IN PRODUCTION SPECIFICATION. TIRES, FUEL, ENGINE TUNE, everything!

OMG, listen to that thing!

WTF? Quit pulling shit out of your ass! If you're going to talk trash at least cite it asshole.

Where on earth did you get this info from?? I went to Pistonhead's website and cant find any mention of this there or anywhere on the net. The zr1 had Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires with stock ride height and weight with pump gas - try this quote from Tadge J. Juechter: "The car was bone stock with the exception of the communications and safety equipment" I'd love to see the source of your information and not just speculation.

GM's Tadge Juechter has finally admitted that the ZR1 used to run the ring was a heavily modified ringer: "We used full racing slicks and C6R suspension" said Juechter. Pistonhead's promptly and accurately documented this shocking news. Earlier this month the respected Roundel magazine verified that the ZR1 used to run the ring was indeed producing 993hp. They reportedly also used a high downforce aero package from the c6r which reduced it's straight line speed but provided enormous grip!

Yeah, they did this year because of the Corvette team had mechanical issues. Their brakes kept giving out at the worst times. Haha, you shouldn't even mention Evo X in the same breath as ZR1.

Didn't Team Aston win at this years Le Mans race? Also, to the Impala VS Focus question... Nither.Would rather have an Evo X

it is the best fuel mileage of its class thats why i love it

lol it's not the z06 that races there it's the c6r...a racecar

Horsepower Profiles. com Brag A Little

lets see that thing at the 24hr Le Mans race if the z06 kills there this thing will dominate!

vettes get superior gas mileage to other sport cats..ferraris and lambos get lik 12 a gallon haha. porche about 20 and zr1 about 24 highway

Almost seems like they catch some air at 1:43. Nice...

ill take the vette at 35 mpg!!

superchargers do kill fuel economy. But GM uses great fuel systems and even their V8 cars get relatively good fuel economy. The Impala SS gets 25 on the highway, my friend's focus gets 29. Which would you rather have?

the z06 will get 25 to 32 mpg depanding on the driving! and the zr1 isnt much differnt cause its supercharged!

there suprisingly good on gas!!

wow that sounds amazing!!!

If you can afford that, gas prices dont matter.

holy shit bitches batman! Sounds wicked
