Too many speed traps in my area (DC, MD, VA). Most vette/viper/cobra owners just gather outside the Starbucks (Car playdates). We need a local Track/Course inside the Beltway PLEASE. The Big 3 has brought back the Muscle. I want 1 of each model parked on my drive way (even just to look at it when idling).

No offense ice but you dont know what you are talking about. ZR1 is far above than cobra with slaped KB or TT setup. And no Ford is not coming out with anything anytime soon that will beat this. In fact not a lot of other car makes are capable of beating this yet.

Stronger how??? In a straight line? Has anyone here driven on a roadcourse? No Ford will touch this car, not even the GT, certainly not any Cobra. In fact, I dont see many Fords on roadcourses when I go. They just dont perform well. Only thing I dont like about this car is it still looks like a C6

Give me 03-04 cobra and 20g's and i'll make the cobra easly takeout the 09vette.The 08 supersnake would do it 725hp750tq but its just the car weighs 4000lbs...and the vette 3200lbs Supersnake 0-60 3.7sec 1/4m 12.0@122mph 09corvette 0-60 3.4sec 1/4m 11.7@125mph So think about it, what do you think would happen to the vette if ford made there 08supersnake 3200lbs and made a supercharged 7.0 8.0L engine instead of little supercharged 5.4L

What has ford come out with in the past 50 years that was an apt answer to anything exciting GM put out? I mean ever since they made the cobra they haven't had anything on the Corvette. In fact, the Z06 trumped Ferrari. Ferrari tried to one up that, then Chevy comes out with the ZR1 and now the whole world is drooling. Don't feel bad ford boy. Nobody's going to make a better high performance assembly line auto any time soon. Especially around $100K.
