1000 Corvettes in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Description:	While passing through Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA on my way home from Mt. Ida, Arkansas (which is the Quartz Crystal Capitol of the World), I was lost and just wanted to find I-30 when I came upon this scene. There were about 1000 or so Corvettes getting a police escort through town. I thought it was a funeral at first. But after about 5 Corvettes I knew it must be a festive occassion. Corvette Club of America? That's what came to mind. Later I looked online and found that yes, the Corvette Club of America went through Hot Springs, Arkansas that day in April 2007. I had already passed the limit of my patience waiting for these cars to get out of the way so I could go when I turned on the camera and got this; out of intense boredom. This serves as another viewpoint.

my mom and dad spent their 40 yr annivisary in hot springs during the vette fest and took their 2001 vette. I was sad to miss it due to work but i have a 68 bb vette that makes the trip to effingham every year

Probably the best thing that ever happened to a one-horse town. If they all stopped to get gas, the probably equalled 20% of the towns revenue for the entire year. GO VETTES!!! Don't they sound BEAUTIFUL?!

Wonderful isnt it? I love when the harleys come to town and the police let them parade around naked women, do burnouts, and drag race down central ave. Then the next day I get a speeding ticket, go figure.

Feh. The C2s were the best, though a handful of C6s seemed to have tuned exhausts that sounded sweet. C3's are Mulletmobiles.

dude i just have to say that the hog rally surpases the corvette weekend..but its awesome to see them all here
